Hailin Hengdaohezi Siberian Tiger Development Co., Ltd was briefly called as Hengdaohezi Siberian Tiger Park. The park is situated the location of 211 km of National Highway 301 under Weihushan of Snowy Forest with 140,000 m2 floor area, which depends on Siberian Breeding Base that is the largest in world. Chinese Hengdaohezi Felid Breeding Center was established in 1986. The tenant of the park establishment is “to rescue endangered Manchurian tiger specie”, based on protection, science and research, feeding and breeding, after 20-30 years of hard work of tiger breeding men, the Felid Breeding Center has been enlarged, which has gotten recognition and accreditation of International Animal Protection Association, it is the unique Felid Breeding Center registered internationally. At initial of the center establishment, under great support of Heilongjiang Local Livestock Product Import and Export Corporation affiliated to Heilongjiang Foreign Trade Department, our nation has devoted a large quantity of labor power, material resources and capital and made Manchurian tiger to have received breeding, science and research as well as protection. At initial of the center establishment in 1986, under the situation that there was no special fund appropriation and special capital from state, the center loaned ¥ 8.90 millions from Hailin Industrial and Commercial Bank. According to reform of national policies as well as notice spirit of No. [39] State Council Document in1993, bank did not continue to give loan support, the breeding center entered into economic difficulty. In order not to make Manchurian tiger to be hungry to death, under the situation that there was no salary given for 18 months, Manchurian tigers passed through difficulty temporally. In order to open up survival path of Manchurian tigers and solve the outstanding problems of insufficient fund of feeding Manchurian tigers, our company had taken the measure of raising tiger with tiger and made full use of Manchurian tigers. For several years, Manchurian tigers had been transported to Shanghai, Beijing, Changbai Mountain, Qinhuangdao, Dalian, Harbin and other places, which had solved the realistic problems of person and tiger reassignment as well as insufficient breeding fund and made the tiger park to walk out of dilemma.
